Dr. Ed Wong and Dr. Jaren Wong believe that lasting care starts with listening. They are a father-son team who bring different strengths to the practice — experience and innovation, steadiness and fresh perspective — grounded in the same philosophy: make patients feel safe, respected, and informed.
Dr. Jaren Wong, DMD
General Dentist
Dr. Jaren Wong is a dedicated dentist committed to empowering his patients through informed decision-making about their oral health. Raised in a close-knit family, Jaren developed a deep sense of responsibility towards the well-being of others. After earning his bachelor’s degree in biology from UBC, Jaren pursued his passion for dentistry by attending the Sydney University School of Dentistry.
Driven by his belief in the importance of ongoing education, Dr. Wong remains at the forefront of advancements in dentistry through regular participation in continuing education programs and workshops. His commitment to staying informed allows him to provide his patients with the latest evidence-based treatment options.
With a compassionate and patient-centred approach, Dr. Wong prioritizes open communication with his patients. He takes the time to thoroughly explain treatment options, ensuring that each patient understands their oral health needs and feels empowered to make informed decisions.
Outside of his professional endeavours, Dr. Jaren Wong enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends, exploring new cultural experiences, and nurturing his passion for food and cooking.

With years of experience in general dentistry, Dr. Ed Wong has earned a reputation for his calm approach and thoughtful communication. He’s known for taking the time to answer questions thoroughly and helping patients feel at ease — especially those who may have avoided the dentist due to fear or uncertainty.
His focus is on creating long-term solutions that prioritize comfort, clarity, and quality care. For Dr. Ed, building trust matters just as much as clinical outcomes. He believes a good dentist doesn’t just fix problems — they help patients avoid them.
Dr. Ed Wong was born and raised in Vancouver where he graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of British Columbia in 1993. Over the span of his professional career, Dr. Wong has owned and operated multiple successful dental clinics with hundreds of 5 star reviews. His many years of experience and additional training have given him the opportunity to provide a wide variety of services for his patients.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Wong is an avid musician, performing with several bands and artists along the West Coast of Canada and the United States.
Dr. Wong is committed to providing clinical excellence and compassionate care in order to give every patient a positive experience.
